Ebay buying & selling? I am going to start buying wholesale products & reselling them on Ebay. I was told I will need a tax id number. It won't be an actual business I will be the only person so I'm sure I won't be selling a TON I really don't know but does anybody know if I will need a tax ID & also will this affect me when file my taxes? Will this mean I may have to pay when I file taxes? I don't know a whole lot about it yet but I haven't noticed many people charging tax for items on Ebay so I didn't plan on it. Ebay Buying question.? Hello :) I bought a laptop of ebay and he is a POWER SELLER so all good feedback. I paid from Money order / Cheque which I sent last friday, it didn't sent till Tuesday because of the long weekend (Australia Day) So it went Tuesday and he still hasn't received it yet. I'm from Victoria in Australia and it went to Queensland. I'm concerned that it is taking so long, I ask today at the post office and they said it could of traveled by car to send the money order, has this happened to you before, please tell..

my ebay buying experience, was that good or bad? I had buy online with GKWorld (an ebay store) for a DVD on 26-Jun-07. It is to be shipped by USPS First Class Varied. On 29-Jun-07, I received a notice from USPS state "Electronic Shipping Info Received" with a Label Number. Then no news, until now. So were my DVD. I e-mail USPS customer service, they ask me to call 1-800-222-1811. I called, but it said information not avaiable. The I e-mail GKWorld, but no reply. Call their phone, no answer (and I have to wakeup in the middle of night to call them!) One of the USPS reply read like this, "I apologize I do not have that information. You will need to contact the International Call Center. Some people have more luck getting through if they wait on the line for a representative to assist them." Where should I call? What can I do? Can anyone help? Do you think I had been scammed? The item was intended to be shipped from US to Malaysia. And as I check USPS, I noticed USPS may be the cause as sometimes they just don't update their system after they received the package (they don't want to do double-work, I suppose). On the other hand, customs are also a problem. They did not say how long will it takes to check the package. I hear some people actually receive their package after 3 months! Last but not least, there are mail thief and human error that will made my package become lost.
2 part question about car amplifier makes and ebay buying..please help me out? so i was lookin at car subs and amplifiers off ebay..and i seen a amp that i am lookin forward to getting..its a legacy rebel 4000watt 2 channel amplifier..the price is about 130.00..it seems to inexpensive for an amp like this..i also seen two kickers 2L5 SOLOBARIC 12" CAR SUBWOOFERS SUBS and the price for the pair is 249.50..it also seems unbelivable..and i was just wondering if i were to buy them would i be gettin ripped off or is it legit..and one more question..if i get that amp and those kickers will that amp have those kickers subbin it??

Any eBay buying nightmares to share? I've had horrible experiences with some sellers on eBay, who, unfortunately, had great feedback scores/comments. I'm sure I couldn't have been the only one jipped by this one company. (And it wasn't a problem with shipping either) But people seem to be leary of leaving negative feedback ; I'm assuming because they don't want to take a chance of someone leaving it for them? I was bidding on an item and i saw you could offer him a buy it now offer so i did and it ended it early.When it ended it said for unknown reasons not because of buy it now.So i made the transaction out of ebay and i already sent the money order.Hes has 100% feedback and he said he'd send them as soon as possible and now he doesen't respond to my emails and he has no items for sell.So i dont know.

I have been trying to sell on ebay for the past nine months & it's frustrating , this year I actually have a samll loss because of fee's & a couple people who bought & didn't pay. Contravention of Copyright buying at EBAY and such...? I wondered as i posed a copyright for a project if people realised that when buying from ebay the sellers were actually breaking the la. Most dvd's cd's video's and books will have a copyright which states that they are not allowed to sell to another person. Ebay in accepting these sales are in contravention of selling illegal goods. To recap. Once a book,dvd,cd,video is bought normally the owner does not have a legal right to sell on. Odd I know but isnt the law always odd? Next time you watch a DVD instead of skipping watch the WARNING!

Buying your breast pump off of Ebay??? New or Used? I believe I've come to the conclusion that using a second hand breast pump (not hospital grade) is unsanitary, so I would not even begin to consider buying a used or even a gently used BP off of Ebay.
