Ebay selling? selling on Ebay.com close to Christmas might get hard. people are going to the mall rather then shopping on line. Ive put some Abercrombie shirts on ebay. it dose seem rather slow. the closer to christmas we get. to alll those out there I would hold seller to after christmas. january will be harder too because thats the time when people will be paying there credit card off. is this relavent to other people out there ? hows sell for other selling on ebay. & is the sells great for u people. ? ebay selling? I sold a item on ebay and the buyer emailed me that the item did not work. I was not sitting by my computer waitng for someone to email me so I got the message the following day. I went to my ebay account and found that it was suspended without even a chance for a dispute. The buyer had left negative feedback saying that it took 10 days to get his item which in reality took 6 days as you have to wait to get your money. I contactacted ebay with the delivery conformation number and it did not matter even though there was proof that the buyer had lied. They told me in order to get my account right I would need to fax them a copy of my drivers license or another government document to verify who I was. I have been selling on ebay on and off for 4 years and they know who I am as they have my bank account info. This is ebays trust department that tells you not to send this info to anyone and they will not ask. What should I do?

eBay selling? eBay is quite confusing to be. I'm trying to get the real feel of it so I can start selling some of my home made stuff (treats and lotions) for some supplemental income. I'd also like to sell other things. 1) When people say buy wholesale then sell what does that mean? Example: Normal charge for GOLD membership = £7 a month But by selling off 300 memberships on Ebay for an EBAY membership type which goes for free for life, would be considered as having facevalue and also an offer compared to the standard gold membership charges. On eBay there are several selling "formats". eBay charges money and limits the listing time for most formats which includes: *auction * fixed price *store inventory *classified ad And yet....it says you can use the "best offer" selling format for free. And it does not specify a time limit. What is the catch? How does eBay make money on this format? What is the catch? It seems like I can use eBay for free if if I choose to use this format.

ebay selling problem? i'm in the uk, i am new to selling on ebay and i have set up an ebay sellers account and pay pal account all the correct proceders, and when i finally go to sell a car on ebay i fill in all the correct fields but it says i must enter a description, well i have entred in the box at the very top bmw and other such words such as bmw 7 series or bmw car etc and it still keeps saying enter product description, this is the only field that, ebay is not accepting and i dont know what else to put in the required field does anyone know what the problem is?

Ebay? Question about selling? I would like to set up a shop on ebay selling fashion jewellery, including belly bars etc and I read most of the policies on selling. It says you can't sell items that are copies but I've noticed many people are doing it including shops but they've had no action taken against them as in the rules it states you would be penalised if you do (copyright laws etc). The reason why I ask is I was going to buy a few playboy items off ebay to resell but I don't want to get into trouble if I do. How do other people get away with it or is it okay to sell copies if you say they are? I wouldn't be selling them at designer prices and I've noticed there are hundreds of copies for sale. Issues of concern: open new credit card to track sales necessary? Shipping charges, should they be a flat rate or what? Returns and privacy.. will describe detail in posting with photos but do not want returns as the point is to get rid of them. Selling on ebay SUCKS!!! Paypal sucks as well!!? I am a seller on ebay and I think it totally sucks! The fate of your ebay selling success lies totally on the buyers, you play no part in this whatsoever. Furthermore, the fact that Ebay owns paypal is unethical and is a conflict of interest. They charge listing fees, selling fees, paypal fees and even over price the postage fees. The dumbest thing abour paypal is that if people open disputes against you and want refunds on their items, paypal will freeze your account. So not only can you not access your money, but now you cant even refund peoples money, now HOW DUMB IS THAT???!?! Anyone agree?!??!

Ok so I hav been selling stuff on Ebay for about 2 months and have been very successful, but Im curious how some of these people with stores on there have about 1,000 things on there that sell each day. It takes me all day to sit and relist 60 things, Im curious is there an automatic relist button anywhere, or how do I obtain a store from them? Just trying to figure out how to make it easier for me. There are several Sellers on Ebay selling counterfeit copies of DVDs , one being DVDONTV. What to do ? Several sellers on Ebay are selling hard to get DVDs of British shows such as " Last Of The Summer WIne " and others . They are counterfeit and Ebay will do nothing to stop this . One seller is DVDONTV , but there are many . Some of these DVD Series are out of stock at legitimate sellers and may not be available again . The Sellers on Ebay are taking advantage of this by selling Counterfeits of Universal - Playback DVDS , They are of very poor quality and the print, and pictures on them is very blurred and hard to read . Some of the print and the Copyright Warning on the DVD has been removed . Look at any you have purchased from Ebay and see if they look as described, then complain. It may not do any good, but there MUST be some way we can stop these cheats and criminals . What do you think ? Thanks and keep us free fro crooks !
