Which has the best online selling tools out of Ebay and Yahoo Auctions? I have been selling on Yahoo Auctions for about a week, and it seems like I would have a better chance selling if I had tools to bring attention to my items. I can't seem to find Yahoo's method of creating traffic to my items. What can I do? Or would I be better of going to Ebay?

is there a way to find out how well certain products on eBay are selling? for instance. I want to sell rubber ducks (just an example folks). Is there an ebay tool or a way to see how well certain items sell without going thru each individual seller to see how many they have sold? There are over 2000 listings for "rubber ducks". All that tells me is that there are a lot of hopeful people out there trying to sell their ducks. It doesnt tell me if there is an actual market for them.

I listed on ebay using turbo lister, and may want to extend the days duration. I have tried doing it before, but it wont allow. Selling vintage tools and a toolbox? I have a number of vintage tools and an old school metal toolbox (maybe 60 or 70 years old) that I want to get rid of. dumb question on selling a computer on ebay? i know someone ( no, it really isnt me ) that is sellin computers on ebay with a hacked copy of windows xp... this version goes on and passes windows genuine inspection without you even needing to type in a key code (ive seen it done, its actually pretty neat) it comes with a bunch of extra tools so its actually pretty cool ... if he was selling the computeres with the hacked xp already loaded on ebay.... could he get sued or anything, or is he fine? thanks for your time!!
How do I get a buyer to retract negative feedback on ebay? I sell various concert tickets on ebay, largely for a hobby e.g. I buy 4 tickets, will use 2, and sell the other 2 to pay for my ticket. I have 100% feedback. However, I have encountered a difficult buyer. He bought tickets for a gig one week away, failed to pay for 4 days, then paid with only 2 days to the gig, he gave 2 differenct delivery addresses, and because of that he didn't receive the tickets in time. Situation: A regular, professional, business ebay seller with lots of listings active (100+) at all times, sells many items within their specific product range. All items are re-stocked regularly and all listings re-list automatically when they've ended or sold out. Meaning their product range and stocking habits are similar to those of a high street shop. It's a genuine sales business with all the ongoing issues regular businesses have. eBay: I just sold an item on ebay, but I dont know anything about the shipping!? I just sold something on ebay, using paypal I was paid. Paypal tool about $5 from the purchase, I guess for using it. And now I went to the getting shipping labels part, and filled everything out there, but it says it will charge me the - Package Cost: $6.61 and the Delivery Confirmation: $6.75. Will that be added on to the previous $5? Are the going to take away $11 out of my purchase? Can't I just go to the post office and fill everything out there? What is the cheapest way to do this? Does anyone know of any accurate tools to decide how much I can spend on a house? I am getting a loan for a new home and according to the guy I can only afford a $55,000 (at the very most) and all the houses for $55,000 are DUMPS. I know I can afford something more.. on the websites listing houses for $80,000 they say estimated monthly payments for this house($88K) is $498. ??? Right now I pay $425 in rent and have a LOT of spare money. I sell on ebay and he can't count that because I JUST started selling this year and didn't last year(taxes) so what can I do to get a loan on a house around $70,000-$80,000 when they will only give me a loan for $55,000.. I wouldn't pay $15,000 for these crapholes they have listed for $55,000!!! JUNK! It seems that $70,000 is the magic number, you get what you pay for. BTW... my husband makes $11.00/hr and always get min. 5 hours of overtime each week at $16.50/hr. I make at LEAST $800 a month doing ebay. So together we make about $2600 after taxes. Ebay is over charging for their error. What legal options do I have concerning this matter? OK I logged into my ebay account today and notice I have a $870 balance. Well I haven't sold anything in 3 months so I contacted them and was told: Essentially, what happened, is you were not credited correctly. Some Trust and Safety tools, when crediting Good Till Cancelled Listings, have been crediting far too much, they credit for ALL fees, and EVERY Final Value Fee every charged for a listing. When Good Till Cancelled Listings are cancelled, only the current duration is credited as previous durations are in the past, these are completed durations, and these are fees that are owed to us, but we've been crediting ALL fees. Essentially we've had to backtrack and correct this error. These are valid fees for an overcredit and this is actual money owed OK I am being charged for an error made by ebay and they want ME to pay for it. Do I have any legal options avalible for me? I can't pay out this $870 in the 14 days they want me too. They are threatning to close out my store/account Some of these auctions they are charging me for are over 2 years old... I can't see how they can do this since at the biginning of the month I had a $300 credit on my account and now I owe over $500... Is anyone else getting charged for this? The seller has a 100% postive feedback but I got an email from her this morning stating: " Hi. Thanks for buying. However, I just spent $21.95 on the new wheels and expected these to at least sell for that. What would the chances be of asking for an additional $10 since these are NEW shoes with NEW wheels? I was out of pocket tonight and probably would have ended the auction early if I had noticed these were not going to reach the price of the wheels. These usually sell for at least $59 including the $6 set of plugs and the tool. I really hate to pay you to take these shoes. Do you know what I mean? It never hurts to ask." Should I pay what I bid or do what she asks?
