are those "work from home" ads real? any stay-at-home-mom try it?? i have a 6 month old at home and i want to be able to stay home and raise him but babies are not cheep, lol! i was just looking thru the newspaper and it had some of those work from home ads sounds like a good idea but at the same time kida risky... has anyone actually tryed it and had any luck with it? Work from home moms...what do you do? I currently have a job that has me working evenings but my income, along with my husband's, is still not making ends meet. I need to find something that I can do from home during the days. Our goal as a family is for me to eventually become a stay at home mom all day. Work from home??? This question may have already been asked or a similar question asked. Many work at home jobs are not real and I found out that a very recent work at home is not real. It did seem like a real job, but it was not. How do you tell a real work at home job from a fake work at home job? I did get an email answering this same question. The main question that I want to ask is "Are there any work at home jobs out there that are real and not scams?

For stay at home moms, what do your husbands do when they come home from work? I'm just wondering for those moms who stay at home with their kids, when your husbands/boyfriends come home from work, do they help out with the kids at all?? I know my husband works extremely hard to provide for his family, but should he not have to do anything at all when he comes home from work? Sometimes I'll ask him to give our daughter a bath and he says its my job to do that b/c he has worked all day. I don't make him do anything around the house except clean the shower b/c he is a mechanic and the shower can get really dirty due to his work so that is the only thing I ask of him. I'm just wondering if it is fair that just b/c he works outside the home, he shouldn't help out with the kids as far as bathing them, brushing teeth, putting them too bed, etc.

I came home from work to find a "For Sale sign in my front yard. What do I do? We've been renting our home for 2.5 years from a property management company. The home is owned by a woman I have only met once. Today, with no notice from the owner or property management company, there is a "For Sale" sign in my front yard. It was after 5pm when I saw the sign, so there was no way to contact the property management company. Obviously, I'm completely shocked. We still have 6 months on our lease. This isn't the first time the owner has done something crazy without telling us. She had our roof redone without telling us and didn't bother to get any permits, so we lived in a home with no roof for 4 days while that mess got sorted out. She refinanced our home as owner-occupied 6 months after we moved in. (I took down all our family pictures and took a full day off of work to accommodate her.) Right now, I just want to cry. Legally, what are my options? Just talked to the property manager, who tells me it looks like she's trying to short-sell the home to avoid a foreclosure. He made it sound like she's already received a notice of default. He also said she wants to give me 60-days notice. With our leave being through June '08, do I have to accept her 60-days?

work from home? Has anyone found LEGITIMATE work from home- typing, data processing, or editing print that pays decenat where you determine your own hours? It seems like more and more companies are going this route with hiring people, but there are so many scams out there that it's alarming. I'm beginning to question whether there is anything out there. I mean if so.... why wouldn't everyone doing this? I over analyze everything all the time, so I would research anything as much as possible, but would love a head start and referral from someone who may be is already in the process of doing something like this from home and is actually being compensated for their work the way promised, and no fees to get started. "Work From Home" that want a fee to enroll. NOT? I think that it is ridicules that these websites "Work From Home" charge you a fee to enroll. You are working, they can 1099 you and make money from you, but they charge you. It is the 1st time that I have seen that you have to pay someone to work. DUMB CONCEPT. If anyone knows of a COMPLETELY FREE "Work From Home" website out there, let me know. I am convinced they do not exist.

Doing work from home on the side/permit?? We live in Ohio. If my husband wants to install remote starts from our home garage, on the side from his regular job. Work From Home???? After I had my babygirl my husband and I determined that I would stay home to take care of her for a while. We considered not to put her on a day care untill she is older(around 1 or 1 1/2). We are both musicians and for me is a little harder to get gigs, given that I am with her most of the time. My issue is finding some good sites that want you to work from home and they don't want to charge you $200 to sign up to do it. It seems like each site charges a fee for you to get information about working from home. The fee they are charging does not guarantee a job, just information. Are there any out there that are legitimate jobs that don't charge you to work for them? I feel like I am wasting my experience. Jobs around here are hard to find right now. Legitimate Entry Level Work From Home Medical Transcription Jobs? I am looking for a legitimate entry level work from home medical transcription job that you don't have to pay anything to them in order to work for them. I have no formal training in medical transcription, but I have 3 years experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I have been training myself for medical transcription with my fiance's text books and computer software. I have it down now, having transcribed 100s of practice dictations and refreshing my knowledge of medical terminology, spelling, and Anatomy and Physiology. I have post traumatic stress disorder, so I cannot do what I used to do in nursing homes and sales, so I have been studying and practicing transcription for awhile now so I will be able to work from home. Want to work from home, do not want scams? I am looking for kind of work that I can do from home that isn’t a scam, or a “pay us, and you can work from home,” (scam). Without a doubt I know there is someone out there that actually has some none scam home based job that doesn’t involve out of pocket expenses or some other scammy type thing. Could anyone make a suggestion here? Oh, and someone suggested that “home biz for all” might be just the thing, but this looked way to scam like for me (check out all the “sign up for free,” and “simple to use PayPal or Credit Card” signs- thanks but no thanks). Looking at some of the suggested sites below I find it funny that they want you to sign in, or register first then they will tell you what the business is, and to me that is just way to scammy. I am presently checking through them looking for the ones that I do not like or trust because of their lack of information before signing up. Also AdAware is helping by looking for spy ware being placed (any that do are obvious scams). I work from home and park at the end of lots, scratches show up on car after hand car wash, did they do it? Title says it all. Basically I RARELY park my car in a lot with other cars near it. I park my car in my driveway at home (and work from home). When I go to the health club, I park my car at the back of the lot, where nobody else ever parks. I brought my car to the hand wash. 7-8 guys work on it at a time. I get home, close my door, and notice two deep scratches on my drivers side, one on each door. They were ones that look like would happen if a piece of dirty got caught in a sponge and spread across. I called up, and the owner was somewhat nice. She said that she thought my car was probably very dirty and the scratches were there already. I disagreed (it wasn't that bad). They tried to remove the scratches but they are still there, just not as visible. The workers do a good job on the cars but are somewhat rough and routinely rub against them when they are drying it. Does it seem likely that the scratch was made at the wash? Or was already there when I brought it there?

Work from home jobs? I am a single mother of a kindergarten aged child. My child is going to school 3 x 1/2 days (therefore 7.5 hours a week). I have rung around and cannot get any before or after-school care due to where the school is and lack of family day carers in my area. Also, my family (& friends) all work full time (or on rotating rosters) so I can't get any assistance from them. How do I connect from my Vista Home Premium Laptop, to my work XP Home desktop? I'd like to be able to connect to my Work desktop PC from my personal laptop. My laptop is Vista Home Premium and my desktop is XP Home edition. I also have on my work PC - pcAnywhere 9.2, when I tried to load this program on my laptop, so I could connect it said there were some compatibility issues that would disturb some built in features. So I didn't risk it. I'm desperate to be able to do some work at home, I'm so far behind on a project it's killing me. Any help would be appreciated. :o) EDIT: The programme I need is a live update database. It's not possible to copy to a type of media. I need to be active on my work system.

I work from home, now my employer is telling me I have to come into the office? 4 months ago I was hired by a company to work from home doing computer progaming.The only reason I left my old job was because of this.Now they are telling me that I need to come into the office and be onsite.I don't have it in writing that I was hire to work from home, but if I knew this would happen, I never would have left my other job. My other job was 5 minutes away and this one is an hour commute.I also gave up health benefits to work with this new job.My old job had great health benefits and were flexibile but to be able to work from home full time was not an option with them, this is going to be hard on my family since we sacrificed a lot like childcare which we can't get back. DO I have any legal option that would not allow them to suddenly do this? I would never have taken the job if I new they were going to require me to commute an hour for less money and no benefits. how can I convince my boss to let me work from home for 2 days.(12 hours)? I work at small company (30 employee). My boss is happy with my work. Who wants to work from home? I FINALLY found a legit business and was wondering if there were many out there? I've been trying for years to be able to work from home, but all I ever got was stupid "pay me this much and I'll tell you how to do it" offers and then all they gave you was things like "put up a website and advertise this product." SCAMS!!! A friend finally turned me on to a girl who did transcription and she gave me a list of people who were hiring (that you didn't have to pay obviously) at-home typists. Of course, the girl charged me $20 bucks for the list and the info to find the forums, but it was worth it overall as I now get to work from home and make a very good living. It's hard work though and you've gotta make yourself do it and there's no down time if you want to get paid well. I was wondering if there were any other types of LEGIT work at home jobs out there that I could try?
