Ebay Business?

I am looking for a way to earn some extra money as an alternative to getting a second job. I only need to earn a few hundred a week. I have some questions about ebay businesses. First off I am familar with ebay, i have sold and bought stuff many times so we can skip the step of explaining how to do those things. I have read through all the other "ebay business" questions and thier answers.... most people just answer with a website to buy a kit... I would just like to talk to a real person who has started an ebay account and how they did it (if they used a kit or not, if not how did they find wholesalers, if they did how the kits works, can you recommend one that gives you everything you need? I am a very organized person, I don't have a lot of interests, but I would like to sell somthing maybe smaller... and easier to ship.... I thought about diet pills or jewelry, but wouldn't mind having a pet related store...because I myself have bought many things for my cat. any advice?

1. Hello friend, I personally dont think that if you know so much about ebay business then any kit would be of any help. The very main point for you to remember in my opinion is that you should have the correct buying source for whatever product category you enter into. By this I mean that your buying should be cheaper and the root buying source for most if not for all products is Hong Kong/China. As for ebay selling you must remember the vast competetion involoved. As for jewelry, you may visit this Yahoo hosted website, magnetic-jewelry-fashion.com - Hong Kong, China, and if you can sell these locally, you may check with them for wholesale offers in the products of your interest, low investment, high returns. I think it's the best thing i've ever decided to do. as for money I can usually make anywhere from $125-$400 a show. I feel like i'm getting paid to party with women. 3. Hi, I too needed a 2nd income and needed to work from home. I am an official Ebay Trade Assistant. I sell my own items and I sell for other people. I get a % +Expenses for the items I sell for other people. I have registered with Ebay and I get business via word of mouth, talking to people and handing out business cards when I meet people. I have found that if you want to make the most of your time and money, certain catagories are best. Sometimes the larger items are where the money is. Golf Clubs are a HUGE money maker! I have never purchased any book, kit or anything else to learn to sell. If you know where to look you can get all your questions answered off of Ebay. There are also Yahoo Groups for Ebayers to share info, what works, ideas, etc. I had a mentor when I started, a woman who could identify with my situation, she and I would chat via yahoo messenger and she would answer my questions to the best of her ability...she would give me tips and such...I have been returning the help to those just starting.
