Paypal #?
Well hello there everyone, Well Im nobody special, just the old mrs mop (real name mrs ferguson) who does cleaning in the mornings at the offices of paypal in California, but as an honest, genuine cleaning lady with no axe to grind whatsoever, my advice is to just stay clear of this firm, if you are an internet or ebay merchant, looking for a way to accept online payments, as I hear from working here that they have some pretty sinister new plans, that wil cost you dearly, if you choose to get involved, that are designed to hit all merchants where they see it will hurt most, in the pocket, that go beyond just freezing accounts without a good reason. Just use any other means but paypal. I´ll say no more, but if you do decide to ignore this warning, dont cry to me when it all goes wrong, cos I did give you a fair and freindly warning. Now the question is, have you ever been a victim of this sort of thing by paypal Truly Mrs Ferguson, A Morning Cleaning lady at paypal

- I personally have never had a problem with them yet although I have heard of people having problems but not me at any rate but I use fire pay more than Paypal . Thanks for the heads up though as I will really watch now - ty .
- And paypal regularly shares business strategy with the custodial staff? Paypal has become so large, that to not accept it (as a merchant) will mean limiting customer base and revenue. Sounds like you were burned by paypal and are now disgruntled.
- Well, first of all, why would you give your "real" name?? Aren't you afraid of getting fired?? The other is, yes. I have been taken by PayPal. So has my husband. Someone in Texas stole my identity basically, and sold products and never delivered. Over $1000 before my account was frozen. I started receiving emails from PayPal regarding these transactions. Someone by the ID of "Ken" with a Texas address had control of my eBay account. I explained that I lived in NC, and that I had used eBay several times, but more often to buy than sell. I had only sold infant toys, a purse and a pair of Italian shoes. Anyway, I contacted my local police dept. to get advice, but they didn't offer much. I called the Dallas police dept., not even knowing if that was the right city (PayPal wouldn't give me anymore info since I was claiming that it wasn't me....hmm!). They told me to have PayPal investigate and that I could possibly sue if I found the culprit. Right! I asked PayPal to investigate, as advised, and they agreed to do so. In the meantime, I had not eBay account until it was resolved. A few months later, my husband got on eBay to sell an antique clock. His account was frozen as well! He called Ebay, they told him it was PayPal. He called PayPal and they told him that there was no fraudulent activity, but because he was my husband, THEY FROZE HIS ACCOUNT TOO!!! Needless to say, he was furious! I called to protest, but to no avail. when I asked about the investigation progress, they told me there was none. When I asked them about "Ken" in Texas, they claimed they didn't know what I was talking about! They had no info. on anything other than my account being used to commit fraud! They put the amount of $1500 on my credit (fees etc.) and told me that I was completely responsible and that no investigation would be held. I asked for copies of all the notes and they told me that releasing those to me was illegal. It has been a miserable experience that we still haven't overcome.
