Can i use a regular debit card or does it have to be a paypal debit card for paypal? Do i have to give them my banking acccount in order to recieve and make payments?

1. You have to register your bank account, and/or card with them in order to use the service. It's easy to use, I recommend it.

7. I use a MIO visa pre-paid credit card. That way they can't just take more than what is needed.

I use my debit card.... yes you will have to divulge your banking account info, but it is totally secure... they will make 2 small deposits into your account and then all you have to do is verify what the amounts were so that they will know that you were the rightful owner of the account..... pretty easy and secure....
9. I DO not recommend pay pal - they have very little security and my credit card had $10,000 stolen from it. They replaced it and it happened again with another card! BEWARE!
10. Listen to be able to use pay pal it must have that little visa or master card symbol at the bottom of you card to work. IF it's a Debit card it must have that symbol and no you don't have to them your bank acount number, just a debit/credit card with those symbol
11. A reg card for what? Buying? Selling? You provide them with your credit card or bank card/debit card. You have to provide bank acct info if you want to really use PayPal at all for sales. I have been with them for about 10 yrs.
12. A debit card is fine for PayPal, and probably the best choice. Otherwise you can really run up a credit card rapidly!
13. if you have a debit card from your bank you could use that to apply for paypal or any credit card will be good as well or you can also use a bank account as well and dont worry paypal is very safe then once you have become a member of paypal you can apply for a paypal debit card and or a paypal credit card
14. You can use your debit card, but it is linked to your bank account, least ways mine is. I guess any valid Visa or MC debit card will work.
15. You'll have to give them your bank account information. I know it's a pain, but that's the only way you can receive money from PayPal. You can use your bank debit card to make payments as long as it has the Visa, Mastercard or Discover logo on it, but you have to register it as a "back-up source" of payment.
16. You need a plain old Visa or MC debit card. You do not need to give banking info at first. They will ask if you want to become verified. For that, you'll need to give them your banking info. If you keep answering 'no' to the verification thing, they will not need your bank info.
