Question about work from home opportunities?
Currently I'm going to school for web page design and I'm not really liking it so I'm thinking about dropping the course. As of right now I'm a stay at home wife and I actually like it. I would like to work (maybe bring in just a little income) but only if I can work from home. I know that there are a lot of scams out there but I was wondering if there are any work from home opportunities out there that are legit? I'm possibly looking for something where I don't have to pay anything. My husband and I got involved with Melaleuca a few months ago. So far we haven't been successful with signing anyone up but thats okay cause we actually like the products. In the past I've been a Mary Kay and an Avon Rep (I really liked being an Avon Rep more than a Mary Kay Rep) but I had some issues finding and keeping customers. I've thought about starting my own home based business but I don't know what kind of business to start. My question is are there any work at home opportunities out there that are legit? If I were to start a home based business what would be a good business to start? I like to cook salsas, guacamole, cookies, biscotti, brownies, jellies stuff like that. I've thought about starting like a gift basket business? I don't know what that be a good business start? I also like to write (I'm currently in the process of writing a children's story). I was thinking maybe do a little journalism for websites. Are there any websites out there that offer freelance journalism opportunities?

- Hi friend try this... http://simple-onlinejobs.110mb.com is a really a good way of making money online being at home. There is no need to pay at front.Just basic knowledge of internet is enough.Further it is much much better than online paid surveys & data entry..Just try it out there is nothing to lose since u r not going to pay..
- My mom still stands by Avon because you really don't have to invest much money into it, even though it can be a pain sometimes. One of my friends got into selling Party-Lite candles. You don't have to pay anything to start up there, you just have to have around 6 parties in the first 3 months or so, and I think there's a qualifying dollar sale amount. It's hard to find a good stay at home business, but if you don't mind selling, find something you are passionate about, or need around the house: Pampered Chef, Beauty You, Pure Romance, Tupperware, Lia Sophia. I would avoid any online pitches that seem too good to be true. I have done surveys through sites before that pay you, but it's a very little amount so you only make about $20 a year if you keep at it. Good luck, and let me know if you find anything profitable :)
- As you already know from your experience the real pain of these "legitimate" work at home offers is that while yeah you get products for cheap and you can try to resell them, the marketing of said products is all on you and marketing effectively is expensive. It is in a lot of ways the thing that makes or breaks a business. There are other things that you can do. From your post it is obvious that you don't just toss your english lessons in the trash whilst typing on the internet like many people do. It's not terribly lucrative, but there is money to be made from home doing content writing for web sites. A little research, about 800 words, and you've made ~$10. The company I work for spends a few hundred a week on such writing so jobs are out there. Also be sure to check out Craig's List in your area for gigs that might suit your talents, many content writing requests can be found there and you can also offer your services to companies. Happy hunting!
- why not we work 2gether as business partners ? email me nora_sha3@yahoo.com
- There arent any legit work at home jobs, I'm afraid. Try to google Willow CSN (there's another one called Alpine 'something'). This is a legitimate company that hires customer service representatives to work from their homes. This company and the other one was featured on Good Morning America and the Today Show so I know these are REALLY legitimate. At home businesses are great. The only one I can think of that would bring in some good money is child day care. EVERYONE seems to need affordable daycare. If you have patience for kids then, there you go!!! Other than that, I would think that the only thing for you to do is to go out there and actually work a regular part-time job. I know you like being at home (who doesnt) but your kids wont hate you for working 20 hours a week. When they see you going out there working, they will do it too when they become adults. So try applying at the local CVS or Walgreens or Safeway or whatever store there is out by you. Apply for just part-time. I applaud your efforts to be a stay at home mom but it's 2008. Your kids will understand that it will benefit them too if you brought in extra income.
- hi! girl! Do you know or hear something about GDI's concept?? I don't think so!! I'm french and living in France. Few days ago, some friends and I subscribed to GDI system in order to earn some money to booster our incomes, by an easy and legal way. According to us, this business can be profitable, if we work a little. BUT, we've got a huge problem: narrow-minded french people. :) So we decided to communicate about GDI's concept out of France, all around the world. Would you join our team? If you 're honest, serious, ambitious, and clever. your computer can make you rich. www.freedom.ws/missjessie If you've got some questions , mail to tafaryah@yahoo.fr I'll answer you with pleasure! :) :)

- There are wonderful companies and opportunities out there but it will take some research and a little time to find the one that's right for you. My mentor does a free training on finding a five pillars company -A couple of the pillars include a company that has leadership integrity and good timing in the company and industry. This training is available for free and can save you years of frustration and failure. We train and mentor people to better success in any company and all our info is generic and free with no products or companies mentioned. If you would like to learn more either download the e-book at http://kyle.successin10steps.com or email me and I'll send a link to you on the audio training....Either way - good luck in your search and have fun.
- I think if you love to cook that is a great idea. everyone likes food who doesn't like to eat???? and it is consumable. I have a friend that sells Tastefully Simple so that's an idea if you are thinking about another direct sales company I also do Mary Kay and I love it so if you found it wasn't for you what about it didn't you like that might help you I say this because when Mary Kay created her business she sat down and wrote what she would change about the direct sales companies she worked for herself as a point of reference when she was done she had her business plan Wishing you much success :) .

- I am a stay-at-home and I have been looking for a legitimate "work at home" program for quiet a while... My son just turned 2 years old and we found out we are going to have another baby in the spring. The money is tight and we are currently living paycheck to paycheck... Well, I finally stumbled upon a program that is FREE all the way and sounds legit. I haven't earned much yet, but I just started about a month ago and was able to bring some extra cash to help out my husband with the bills. Check it out at http://www.moreinfo247.com/10002197/FREE Good luck!
- There are some legit opportunities out there. Firstly though you need to decide what you want to do. I have one that will utilise your knowledge of the web and internet and will actually hold you in good stead for being successful, no surveys, or any of that scam. There is no need to pay any money upfront, many do because it is like a fast track skipping out the initial stage, but it is not necessary. The products can work out free to the customer, without affecting your commissions, so selling it is fairly easy if you know your customer or dont mind talking to people about the options, its not difficult. You can also bring others in, which gives a second angle and income possibility. Those you bring in you would support and help, in return for that you will get a little something for their first two sales and that's it, ie NO PYRAMID!!! Save me babbling on, I'll put a link to the opportunity in my source, its in early stage expansion so early joiners will be best placed but what ever your first impressions, get in touch and ask your questions before you pass it by. It is an opportunity to be missed and wont be around for ever Anyone else interested or want to know more, just use the link, contact me via Answers or use the e-Mail address on the site. I look forward to hearing from you soon
- There are a lot of things you can do to make money at home however you need to do your research on the companies first. Otherwise you will get scammed! I had that problem before when I was tring to do the same thing. I know work from home full time! there are several companies you can go to if you want to sign up for free with no investment! however, you make pennies that add up to dollars! there is also, one company that I work for that I did pay a sign up fee and was real! between the two I am doing Wonderful! I am a single mom with a ill daughter an have to be able to be at home ready to take care of her and these things worked for me! something to look in to... West corp., and /or WORKFROMHOME4REALPAY.INFO, best of success in your search...
- If you like to do administrative work and are a self-starter, you can look into becoming a Virtual Assistant. As a Virtual Assistant myself, I can tell you a few things about this profession: First, you own your own business. You secure your own clients and provide the administrative support that they need. To consider this option, you should most definitely have strong computer and communication skills. You could probably incorportate web design and website maintenance into the services that you offered as a VA, if you are interested in being a Virtual Assistant. That is a skill that is in high demand. Being a Virtual Assistant is not a get rich quick scheme. It takes dedication, hard work, and initiative to get your business off the ground. However, for those who are willing to invest their time and energy into it, it can pay off tremendously. If you are interested in becoming a Virtual Assitant but don't know where to start, you might want to get an experienced Virtual Assistant to mentor you. They can help you learn where and how to find new clients and provide valuable insight. Otherwise, you may want to look at wahm.com. The message board there is fantastic and has information on work from home opportunities that are available. No matter what you choose to do, make sure to stick to one rule: NEVER pay for employment.
- Hi. In the past, I worked as an independant contractor taking inbound calls for keen.com. I made good money but it became very draining so I quit. I was a little bit psychic so I set up myself in the psychic section and I had an attractive voice so I put myself in the adult section as a adult phone operator. There are more customers calling the psychic and adult section than any other category. There is no job interview because all you do is put in your phone number to where you will be receiving the incoming calls (your phone number is anonymous to the callers). You don't need to do any advertising because keen does it. I suggest setting your call price per minute to a minimum since you are just starting out. You will get more customers that way. After you speak with the customers, customers can rate you after the call. The ratings is how you build your reputation. You need a quiet place to receive calls, there shouldn't be any distraction. You can start receiving calls today if you want.
- my fiance' worked for Alpine Access and it is a legitimate company. he discontinued working due to disability. but it is not a scam, i promise! he got quite a few checks before he had to stop!
