Does anyone work from home?

I was just wondering what it would be like to work from home or online and if home jobs (real ones) really exist. It would be nice if I could work from home because I have a couple of dogs and I'm in college and I'm an aspiring writer. Are there any real home/online jobs?

1. Working from home is not like traditional jobs you have no one to report to. No boss breathing down your neck. You have to set your own hours to work, or you do not make money. Most stay at home jobs do not require experiance, you are either left on your own to figure it out or they train you to do the job. Some make you stay with in a certain area. Others have you delivering or shipping items. Some require you to do so much work or you do not get paid or qualify to continue with that employment. Still others have you carry an inventory that takes up a lot of space. The pay is a very big draw for most people looking for employment. Very few work at home companies have benifits, health, life or cancer. Some have a start up price that includes everything you need to get started. Those kind you might want to ask if there is someone in your area that you could watch to see if you like the position. 2. I worked from home for 4 yeras but it drove me a bit mad.....lots of distractions so I often worked to 11pm but didnt do more work than other people...going out to work feels saner
3. There are some, but you really need to do your research before investing any money. There are very few, if any that you can do strictly from home and never have to do any type of work outside your home. Most home based businesses require that you get your customer base and that is where the foot work or money comes in. 5. I have been working from home for the past 8 months. I started working my home business part time. I went back to school in 2006 which actually helped grow my business because the service I offer. Just remember it is a business and it takes time. You can't expect a six figure income overnight. It is truly "work", so you have to set time aside to do just that. Home businesses also takes discipline. My motto is, "if it's easy, it's sleazy" So be careful of those, "it sounds to good to be true." It probably is!
