Work from home employment???

I am looking for work from home employment that is legitimate. I am a stay at home mom and need to bring in some income and I'm not acustom to being a stay at home mom. I've tried to check things out on line and everything I have found seems to be a scam; Is there such a thing???? Real answers please!!!!

  1. Do a search for this question and the answers. It's asked at least a hundred of times a day. Of course they're out there, but no one is going to tell you what they are if they're legitimate because that would make you a competitor.
  2. I just want to wish you luck with that. I've been looking forever and it seems like everything is a scam...you have to pay them etc. etc. I know some people that do work from home but for the company that they have already worked for for a while and in the company's building but now they do their work from home. (if that made sense).
  3. I agree, that is is challenging to find legit solutions to earn income while raising children. You mentioned employment so I assume you are not wishing to start your own business. The most common type of employment suitable for stay at home mums is telephone customer service. Keep an eye out in job vacancies, or phone some companies and ask if you can do this. I work at home in a "call-centre" type role receiving calls during an allocated time to a dedicated phone line set up by my company. Perhaps you can do something like that.

  6. You can find work! It is just can be a long process unfortunately. It's not like scanning the newspaper job ads, applying and hearing back in a couple of weeks. You might apply for several things and never hear back. There is a lot of competition for telecommuting jobs so you really have to make yourself shine. A good place to start is http://www.wahm.com where you can network with other moms who work from home on the message board. The people on this board have experience and help you weed out the scams. Read, read, read! Next I would go to http://workathomedesk.com and start looking at the companies in the work at home directory section. This is one of the best comprehensive lists of companies that hire telecommuters I have seen. Plus it's free information. Never pay for a job or for a list of companies! It is here for free. Last, I would beef up your resume and create a few different ones for telecommuting jobs you are interested in. I hope this helps you in your search!

  8. The best thing to do is to look at the credibility and if they are approved by the BBB and other credible sources then they are a legitamate business. We were looking for a business last year and found one that we are very happy with. Most that we saw that were scams there was no way to contact an individual to talk to them to ask questions....scammers tend to hide and cannot be reached, but they want your money. Just be cautious, do your homework, and get all the facts.
  9. Hi had lots of trouble finding anything online. Did some e-bay selling which wasn't steady enough. So I signed up for selling natrual Pet food, I couldn't do the "make up" thing, don't really like approaching people. So this is pretty easy.   15. Mary Kay, you make 50% of what you sell. It is dual marketing you buy directly from the wholesaler and sell to the customer for retail so oyu are paid immediatly no parties to sumbit or waiting to get paid. You make oyu own hours and can even work from home. I hold 90% of my appointments at home now that my youngest is getting older I like to go out one night a week for me time it is a fun way to make money and be someone other then "mom" .
