work from home jobs???

Does anyone know of any legitamate work from home jobs? Anything from taking surveys to stuffing envelopes. I'm just looking for something that I can do from my home. I would appreciate any serious legitamate advice esp from people who have done something like this. Not looking for a get rich quick things just something that will allow me to quit my job and stay at home with my children.

  3. I am a Mary Kay Consultant... I do currently work in an office, and do Mary Kay in the evenings, but I know many women who stay home with the kids and work their business.. When I marry and start having a family, it's what I am going to do! I'm not sure that this helps, but it's alot of fun! And you get to be your own boss, so you make the schedule according to what you can do!
  4. Stuffing envelopes, etc. - you will not find one that is legitimate. My advice, as I have been where you are now, is to go to www.wahm.com (WorkAtHomeMoms). There you can find legitimate jobs to do from home. Check out the forums (there are alot of helpful people there and they helped me find an actual job from home). You will probably have to register to post. There are many different forums there ful of people who do different kinds of work. From businesses at home to jobs at home. I had a job that was not restrictive as far as having the kids here with me, but some may be such as answering phones and tkaing orders for companies - they don't want you to have noise in the background like the kids, but you can sign up to do this while they are sleeping if it is something you want. Good luck! I think your decision to stay home with your children is a great one! I speak form experience, you will not regret it!
  5. I am in independent consultant for Passion Parties. I do home parties (but they are generally in the evening when someone is home to watch my children) and I also have an online catalog that people can purchase from. There is an initail investment, but don't let that scare you off. It gives you your basic website and your starter kit so that you can do your parties and have product to show and sample. It's not a 'get rich quick' type of thing and you do have to put effort into it, but it is the most fun I've ever had. As far as stuffing envelopes, online surveys, etc. well, I don't know anyone (including myself) that has had any real luck with them.

  9. Be careful of mail stuffing, surveys, etc. Many are scams or lots of work for no money or little money. I have been working from home for 3 years now and really love what I do. I work around my kids schedule while also adding to our household income. It is a steady income that I can count on every month and trust me, in a world of scams and more scams it if refreshing to find legitimate work from home. I would love to share more with you.
