I am currently pregnant and wish i could be a work at home mom and raise my son. I want to hear from other moms who work from home what the best at home jobs are and how they got started. Any links would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million and my son will too when I dont have to shove him off to day care.

Do in home daycare! You make good money plus get reimbursed for food plus your providing a playmate for your son! You don't have to overwhelm yourself and watch ton's of kids just one or two! I enjoy it so much!
I would suggest becoming a mystery shopper. Dont use the sites that will make you pay money. Here is a link that will give you all of the names of the companies and you can sign up withour paying a penny for free info. I have been shopping for 2 months now and the checks have come in. The jobs are so easy.
I opened an at home retail business last year so that I would be able to work from home, on my own time. I absolutely love it. I have done catalogue distribution, flea markets, home parties and fundraisers for my children's schools. I sell home and garden decor, as well as an assortment of toys, tools and other knick knacks. The great thing about this business is that you're not limited to the type of selling you want to do, and you don't need to leave your house if you really don't want to! I am easily bringing in an extra 1-200 per month, watching my kids grow, and taking them on play dates with their friends, whose parents are my customers! If your interested in typing why don't you start your own blog, its free, place adsense on the blog, thats also free. If you are very good at writing why not build your own website and promote it. Some work from home jobs are not what they seem besides my way is a free way. You can test the waters and see how you go for no outlay.

I'm not a work at home mom, but if you can learn to type and do it well, and take and on-line medical terminology course, you could be a transcriptionist and make quite a decent wage. Many local health care organizations and/or physicians pay top dollar for skilled typists with medical terminology.
