Buying from ebay?

I reguarly use Ebay and have never had many problems with paying for and receiving my items, however i like a pram but can only find it on ebay.com as it`s in canada and the colour is not available here in the UK, it`s still a good price including the shipping but how safe is it from buying from abroad?? would the customs charges be included in the overal price or would i need to pay for that seperately? thanx.

1. The same as buying from the UK in my experience. As long as the seller has a constant good rating and will send by a reliable method i can see no problem. Although you may have to look at Customs charges on shipping large items from abroad because that can be expensive.
2. as long as they have good feedback with a lot of transactions to go with it you should be alright
3. its pretty safe just check the seller's feedback, make sure its positive
4. It should be still be safe as you usually get return guarantees from ebay but the effort involved in actually returning an item that you bought might prove to be a hassle if you are shipping it back to Canada.

I have never had a problem but its only been one or two itesm: a cd, a top...etc not as big as a pram, my main worry would be paying customs should it get pulled uip, then you could be in for not such a chape bargain, so ask about this and do your research first. Contact customs and ask them. I think ebay aslo has afew pages on customs and additional shipping costs. Go through to the forum on ebay and check out what others have said too.
6. I have bought from USA, China and other places. As long as their feedback is OK, and they look pretty reputable, I would go for it. Customs charges are on top of your buying price. They can be paid when collecting your item I have found. Use paypal and your covered up to £500 I think.
7. I don't see why not! It would be like buying from outside the US. Why should it be any different?
