  1. Ebay Dispute console or Paypal protection are your best bet. Mainly, no one else runs any controls on Ebay except them :-(
  2. i dont think theres a site, but if you not sure, check the sellers ratings.
  3. The site is not up and runing yet, but for future reference, check out www.gluepoo.com this site is going to be big and it will resolve many trading problems. It's beta launch is due for May 2007
  4. I dont trust ebay because there are so many things that go wrong with it. I usually go on amazon because they are a company and its not other untrustworthy people seling the stuff, and you can find almost anything there.
  5. * i do not know of one but i always look at the sellers feed back to see what other buyers say about them before i bid one bad feed back and i do not bid
  6. Use eBay. If the person shows lots of recent positive feedback, then consider them honest. If they show lots of negative feedback... then forgetabout it. Here is my rule of thumb. This is the number of feedback I need, depending on the Cost of the item. under $10 - 10 positive feedbacks under $100 - 100 positive feedbacks under $500 - 1000 positive feedbacks under $1000 - 4000 positive feedbacks Sometimes you get screwed on a $10 deal, but that's why you would then post NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. So a new seller, must sell alot of cheapstuff and do it right to earn my trust. Good luck and Happy Computing!
  7. ebay is not that great... the majority of items are dodgy, fake or stolen...
  8. netcraft toolbar http://toolbar.netcraft.com/ can recognise phishing emails it may be able to recognise a fake ebayer
  9. Call Griff host of ebay radio, if he can't answer your question no one can.
  10. well u can usually get a good idea by how many items the person has sold and look at their feedback and get references from past buyers of the seller and if u ever need further information on ebay scams http://scamsbeware.com is a good resource center to help you stay informed, best wishes.
