Ebay Scam?
Okay, about two weeks ago, I purchased a cell phone from an ebay user. It sounded like medium cell phone selling company. Anywho, they said they had recieved the item and shipped it about 2 weeks ago. And as I wait here right now, my package has not arrived. From California to Philly and I still don't have it. I check the tracking number on Priority Mail and it says when it was shipped but was never recieved and dosn't even say the location. Ive now complained to the seller company/person about this and they say they have told the mail carrier to search for the package. And today they tell me that they cannot find the package. However, I have bought a phone from them before but it had phone software issues with it so I sent it back for an exchange and right now that is what I am waiting for. So what do you think? A scam? What should I do. I purchased this through Ebay.

- scam..if you used paypal you can complain
- File a dispute for an item not received. You are allowed to file only one dispute so make sure you're selecting the correct one because Ebay will not let you open a second dispute for another complaint. One shot. Try to contact the seller via email. If they don't reply, you can request the sellers contact info, then call them on the phone. Still no resolve? Go to live chat on Ebay, and request the link to the Trust and Safety Dept. Hopefully that helps. Now check this out, I bought something on Ebay, a posi unit for my classic car, but when I got the item, it was obvious that the seller took pictures strategically to hide the area where the manufacturers ID #'s were ground off so no mechanic could identify this. I went through the proper channels as instructed by ebay. Still no resolve. Now I've got a beef with Ebay because they don't have a number for you to call and speak with someone. If all else fails, try the Better Business Bureau
- I don't think it is the seller's fault. the reason is because when you check the priority mail they say they already shipped. that means the seller has send the package. so he has no control over it. what you should do is complain to the priority mail service. check what is the address? if it is your correct address then the post office has to answer this. if is not the correct address then the seller could have something to do with it. if you use paypal you have some protection and you will get your money back if you make a complain to ebay..
