ebay scams?

can i get scammed using ebay? i want to buy some cheap ps3 on ebay, and i was wondering if it was safe? any precautions? ive never used ebay before.

you might want to read everything they say about the item they may be selling a controller to the PS3 or it could be a fake display just read everything before buying and use paypal they cover you up to a 1000 dollars
Always try to buy from a seller with a long history of good reviews and a power-seller if possible. Read the product descriptions and return policies carefully. They do have dispute resolution if you get ripped off but it's time-consuming. I've personally never had a problem buying from ebay and have ordered everything from magazines to games, to computer parts. But nothing is ever a guarantee.

I'm an ebay shopper, just check the feedback of the seller and his/her buyers. Then, pay tru paypal 'coz it's covered - with insurance. In case it's a scam, you can get your money back. (",
