- big scam, ignore the email
- scam , report it to ebay
- I agree...report it...and that E-mail addy sounds like a fake straight off...whenever someone asks you to pay for something like that (and you're selling it)...you can be pretty sure it's a scam...you're out $150 plus a camcorder, and just try to cash in that moneygram...you might want to do some reading up on Nigerian 419 scams (Wikipedia's as good a place as any)...this sounds like a nice little variation...but the basic scam (for the postage) is well known...
- Oh that is so scammy! Look at the wording - "this unit" - its probably a generated message of some sort. Oh yeah...west Africa kinda gives it away too.
- SCAM. West African nations are full of high tech scammers. Many times the money is bad, especially if it is not PayPal. Looks like the "buyer" wants to go off auction with the transaction which means all the protections (few, but helpful) will not apply to you or your "buyer". Stay away from that scam buyer! Sell it to an American with good feedback numbers and a PayPal account.
- Without a doubt. Anyone who spells in such a manner is a proven scammer, in my experience. Don't ever send out anything until you receive payment.
