Ebay scam running out of options!?
in March of 06 i purchased a laptop off ebay for 1,950 i used paypal i couldnt use regular paypal i had to use paypal E-check due to the amount well it turned out to be a scam so i filed a complaint with paypal promptly they said they froze the guys bank account with my money in it the would investigate before he could get the money well they did and they found he was a scammer they contacted me said he got the money anyways but they would try to get it back well they didnt so i asked paypal for his info they said i have ot have a lawyer contact them my lawyer did then they replied that i needed my local police to fax them a letter so they did they said that it STILL not good enough that i had to get subpeona well i looked into it and they usually cost around $500 so im not going there all i know is this guy is in houston Texas his last name is Nguyen thats all and paypal will not help what are some options here please help this is alot of money and i cant let this creep win Thanks!

- Ebay is useless with this stuff. We had a power seller that gave us a runaround. We sent Ebay letter after letter after letter - they did nothing to help. Go back to PayPal - they were extremely helpful in getting our $300 returned. They must have an address - start there. Tell them you are working with the local authorities, but need their help. We no longer use ebay as they back the scammers and not the consumers.
