  1. Ahh. Looking for the easy way out so you don't have to get off your butt and really work. Sorry sweetie, no can do. It's nice you WANT to stay home but since you're physically capable of getting out there then the lazy route is just pathetic. I don't like getting up at 6 a.m. but hey, a paycheck is a paycheck. Earn your money the way you're supposed to like the rest of us, not parking yourself on the couch with a bag of Doritos and 'pretending' to work.
  2. i "worked from home" when my daughter was young. Strange thing though - i increased my income and worked my behind off... but i have a design career... I'm a freelance designer with tools like photoshop, indesign, and several years of training in the design feild. My suggestion to you is find a hobby you love and make it profitable. I would suggest copywriting, blogging, photography, pr, anything that doesn't involve the MLM (multilevel marketing)... web design, internet marketing - there's a huge need for people to key word and optimize websites by re-wording the pages so taht people find them... it's a bit like mind reading but man it's a profitable few hours a day when you can get a gig.
  3. I am not sure where you looked to just find scams. Here is one source that gives you more background about different kinds of 'work at home' work in general: http://www.gmigllc.com/careers-employment/6050.php Research well. The internet is great for it. Even if you run into MLM (Multi-Level-Marketing) opportunities, there are more rules these days about them disclosing earnings, etc. On the internet you will always find someone who talks bad about an opportunity that you may be interested in. Read carefully and don't get discouraged. A lot of people that want to work from home fail because they get distracted and don't really work.
  4. You have to be careful, there are a lot of scams out there. I know of a fairly new company that is looking for at home workers. You answer infomercial calls from your home and take the orders. It your own business so you set your own schedule and work when you want. I do it now in my free time and plan to start full time in the near future. Anyhow, give it a look, it is a great program: http://www.startyourinfomercialbiz.com
  5. Excellent question! There are some legit work from home jobs out there, such as setting up your own mini call centre through www.salesforceathome.com.au - It's just like working for a boss - you get hourly rate etc - except you're at home The only prob is you need to have uninterrupted time to allocate to answering the calls that come in, and this can be hard when you got kids! There are plenty of scams out there, but if you want to create your own opportunity, look inside yourself and ask what knowledge, skills or experience you have that others might be willing to pay for? This may seem like a daunting question, but if you face reality you know deep down that you do indeed have something to offer the world! I recommend the below resources to help you on the right track. Working from home is OK by me! You go girl!! All the best :)
  6. Read my blog. http://michelle214.blogspot.com/

  9. Any site that asks for money, OR you don't understand how the money is made, OR its too good to be true (get rich fast scheme) run! What I do now its totally free. Forever. I'm off with a broken hand, so it HAS to be free. You can put in a little time, or a lot of time. Its NOT a get rich quick scheme, but you can make a lot more money than working for someone else. It depends how good you are at it too. If you want contact me and I will send you the website. Its registered with the Better Business Bureau The video explains it all. You will be able to tell if its for you. Its world wide. I know 2 people from India and 1 from Canada doing it. Good luck.
  10. I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you. Also have a look at the jobs listed here, most are appicable to us,canada, europe, its quite good, thats where I found the above link. http://working-from-home-ireland.blogspot.com/ Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard. So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. It is just that need to pick the one that suits you the best. I hope this helps you and-->I believe you will find the online job that you love the most. Thanks
  11. I was referred to . http://thelegitonlinejobss.blogspot.com by another yahoo answers member, I needed to pay for rent of my miami beach condo, and its working so far. My rent is is $300.00 a week. and so far I made $1046.33
  12. Hi again, blog has been updated to include the Data Entry links, thanks ------ Hi there, this is a question lots of people ask and believe me 90% of the replies are scams, either looking for you to give them more information or get you to pay them for an Ebook. I finally had enough of getting up at 6.15am, leaving for work at 7am, a 2 hours drive to work and another 2 hours in the evening, before finally arriving home at the earliest 8pm and its usually closer to 9pm. So I have been researching the genuine work from home opportunities which are available and thought I'd share this information for free with anybody else who's also interested. http://www.working-from-home-jobs.com/ I got caught with this at the beginning, I paid $50 for an ebook, but it didnt actually contain any useful information. Basically what they suggested was I re-sell the ebook, so that was their plan for a work at home job, I'd have to convince other people to give me $50. Anyways I wasnt interested in that as a Work from Home job. So hopefully other people won't make the same mistake as me and waste money like that Have a look at my blog if interested, I will try to keep it updated daily with useful information. Hope you will find it useful, any questions please send me an email on this, I'll help if possible. Jim.
  13. The first thing that I would suggest is to send an email to scammers@sohojobs.org. They will reply with a list of known scams to help you. Next, most work at home jobs that I have found do not have insurance. If you have insurance with your job, I would not recommend leaving. If you are not worried about the insurance, check out sohojobs.org. I joined and found a job in a few weeks. The pay is less than I am used to, but not having to pay full time daycare compensates for this. All that I ask, if you decide to join is that you use me as your referrer. I can extend my membership with them this way. My code is se8pdsm. If you want to talk offline about this or if you have any questions., please shoot me an email and I can give you more details.
  14. Yes, there are many jobs out there that are not scams. First, there are a few cardinal rules for looking for legitimate online jobs: 1) If they ask for any type of fees, RUN FAR AWAY! 2) You will most likely not find a plain ol' data entry job. 3) Work at home jobs are not any easier than regular jobs you do outside the home, anything promising lots of money for doing nothing is a scam or a bad business opportunity. 4) Do not "process payments" for anyone, you could end up in the big house. 5) Is the job they are offering going to "change your life", I doubt it. 6) Legitimate companies will not advertise their jobs on banners or spam mail. To start getting educated about work at home jobs you need to visit http://www.wahm.com message boards and read, read, read. There is tons of information there that will help you avoid scams. Next, go to http://www.workathomedesk.com which is a free site that has a directory of legitimate companies that hire home workers. Depending on your skills and experience, you should find some good leads there. When I worked full time outside the home I worked as a virtual call center agent for West At Home in the evenings and weekends. I made a nice extra paycheck and they are a good company to work for. Hope this helps. Good luck!
