How do I connect from my Vista Home Premium Laptop, to my work XP Home desktop?
I'd like to be able to connect to my Work desktop PC from my personal laptop. My laptop is Vista Home Premium and my desktop is XP Home edition. I also have on my work PC - pcAnywhere 9.2, when I tried to load this program on my laptop, so I could connect it said there were some compatibility issues that would disturb some built in features. So I didn't risk it. I'm desperate to be able to do some work at home, I'm so far behind on a project it's killing me. Any help would be appreciated. :o) EDIT: The programme I need is a live update database. It's not possible to copy to a type of media. I need to be active on my work system.

- Why not just drop your project data onto a USB flash drive or a re-writeable CD/DVD?
- you can not connect as they are different operating systems
