Ebay scam?!?
Hi, I recently bought a game on ebay. It had a great price, and almost too good to be true. However, the member had very good feedback and I checked other buyers to make sure they weren't fake. From what I can see, they weren't. Its been almost a week since i bought it. So I figured it was only some problems due to the weather or the something. I log on to ebay, and i noticed in the "items i've won" section, that the game i bought isnt being shown, but it was shown the day before. I didnt delete off the list or anything. It just disappeared. Now I can't even contact the seller because the i dont see the item anywhere. I don't know what to do now, and I'm very worried if it's a scam because i bought it for about $50. I'm going to give it another week AT THE MOST. What do you think i should do?

- If you paid with PayPal you should see the transaction and item number there, as well as have the ability to contact the seller or file a complaint. Otherwise, try going to 'my ebay' in upper right corner and then click on Feedback along the left hand column. This will show everything you bought recently and still owe feedback on, and/or are owed feedback etc. Either of these methods should lead you to the auction, at which point you can then either contact the seller or file a complaint. Note that ebay will make you wait 30 days from the end of the auction before you can officially file a claim. Good Luck!!!
- I would look at your internet history in your computer (temporary internet files) and look for the page you visited that day to find the sellers information. Then I would try to contact about the item. If they don't cooperate, make sure to report it to ebay/paypal, then call your credit card company and report the charge as a fraudulent charge. It will take a few weeks, but if you don't have any property recieved for your transaction, you will get your money back..trust me. All is not lost. Next time, make sure to always jot down the sellers info and all other contact information even WAY before buying something on Ebay. Then you don't have to worry about loosing it. But unless you have emptied your temporary internet files, it should be in there. Go to START, CONTROL PANEL, INTERNET OPTIONS. On the general tab, look down to BROWSING HISOTRY. Choose SETTINGS, then view files. Make sure you are connected to the internet before you do this so it can pull it up. Find the date you bought it and you should see ebay all over the place back there. Your computer will usually store tons of stuff from ebay, even little gif thumbnails of every picture you looked at that day. Good luck!
