Selling golf equiptment on ebay?

I see people on ebay selling a lot of golf products (clubs, balls, etc.). How do these seller's get their equiptment to make a profit. I have a business and would love to buy discounted equipment and sell it on ebay for some extra cash. I have money to invest, but where are these sellers getting their equiptment to sell in the first place??

1. Many of the big sellers are drop shipping products. They find a place that will stock and ship the products so the seller doesn't have to worry about inventory.
2. I look for clubs at thrift stores... you wouldn't believe what some people give away! 50's and 60's vintage iron sets that have been in the garage or basement and only need some wd-40 or naval jelly to bring back the shine. Buy'em cheap and sell'em for a profit!
3. Many sellers of golf equipment on ebay are actual golf retailers. They sell pre-owned equipment or in some instances new equipment. Then there are individuals who sell stuff they've bought and tried out and didn't like. Most aren't looking to make a profit, just some extra income.
