I'm new to ebay and was wondering if anyone can tell me about any ebay scams?

- The best way to stay safe on ebay is to purchase from people that have good feedback (the number next to their user name) see how many transactions they have conducted and read and see what other people who have dealt with them had to say. If you see a lot of negative feedback, then I would be weary about buying anything from them.
- What you also need to be aware of are the Phishing scams where you'll see an unusual pop-up website on your screen that has the Ebay symbol on the website, but when you look on top of your screen, you'll find that the URL is missing. This is a scam that'll get you to try and disclose your personal info and create identity theft.
