  1. eBay is trustworthy, it's just the people who sell things that aren't. Don't be afraid though, it doesn't apply to everybody. The only way to know your phone isn't damaged is to look at all the details they give you such as pictures or anything of the sort. The process usually goes (Log in, buy item, confirm item, log into paypal account, pay for item, receipt and confirmation gets emailed to you). It really depends on the person's location and type of shipping they use, if they use overnight then it's obviously overnight but usually 3-5 days on average unless its on the other side of the world.
  2. Be careful, not all cell phones are created equal. There are a lot of different cell phone standards out there CDMA/TDMA, analog, etc. If you get a phone that was produced for one type of network (AT&T for example) It's not likely to work with a CDMA based system. As far as sellers on ebay, *most* are fully legitimate, but they probably won't be able to tell you specifically if the phone is compatable with tmobile, UNLESS they actually bought it for tmobile's network and used it there. (I've seen the network that the phone was used on stated before in the description, it's not all that unlikely to find a phone that is compatable.) Check the sellers feedback rating. Be wary if they have negative feedback, or have only sold a few item. etc. Time to ship varies from seller to seller, but generally you'll receive most merchandise within a week or less of payment.
