  1. eBay is quite safe, and the company goes to great lengths to make it as safe as possible.
  2. yes check the sources though if u can't get any info from them or another source don't buy it. But sometimes u get bad stuff it happens but ive never had problems with it before.
  3. One person added $17.00 to shipping price. She let me know after she sent the package. She expected me to pay all that extra money without my consent. I fought it and won. A couple times I ordered things that did not work or fit and it worked out fine. Ebay is fun but costly if you get addicted.
  4. Sometimes its not safe to buy from Ebay and sometimes its safe to buy from Ebay but my opinion is, it is VERY SAFE to buy from Ebay.. If the seller scam you, you can report to the Ebay Company and they may ask the seller for fined. Good Luck! MasterWann Technician, Singapore.
  5. Here are 4 tips that I use when shopping on eBay: #1 Tip: I use safeguards such as accessing eBay through safe and secure websites such as http://www.online-shopping-101.com or shopping.com or bizrate.com and other popular websites. Another tip is to read seller's feedback comments from previous buyers. This will give you a good review and history of the seller. This will help you make a wise decision. Third tip to prevent from getting scammed on eBay is ask the seller questions. Ask him or her any relevant questions that may pertain to the item that you are deciding to purchase. And...the fourth and last tip is to use your good judgement. If it sounds or looks too good to be true...maybe you should stay away from it. I hope these will help you! :o)
  6. 1) The best way to tell if a seller is honest is to check their feedback. If the comments have legitimate complaints and an unusually high amount of negative feedback, then keep looking. Always trust your intuition if something smells fishy. 2) Make sure you buy from someone within your country so if the transaction goes sour you have more legal grounds to get your money back. 3) Take into consideration the total cost (final sale AND shipping) to see if it's in line with what you're willing to spend before bidding. 4) Make sure you read the product description thoroughly before buying so you understand EXACTLY what you're getting, how the seller ships, when they ship and how much shipping is going to cost. 5) If you have questions about the item, contact the seller to see what their response time is like. If they don't bother responding at all, then you'll have a harder time getting hold of them if something goes wrong. 7) Keep in mind that you don't have the buyer protection with money orders that you do with electronic transactions because electronic transactions such as Paypal are much easier to trace. I have almost a thousand positive feedback between being a buyer and seller, and I can tell you that sellers have a harder time with honest buyers than the other way around. I've never had a problem buying, but boy, can I tell you stuff about selling! If you heed my advice above, you'll do fine and you'll be glad to find another way to feed your hobbies! Good Luck!
