Nigerian scams on ebay?
Been seeing a lot of "will not post to your Nigerian cousin!" Are there actually sellers who send off the item without first receiving payment? What exactly are these scammers doing?

- if you can send ten dollars to my cousin who is a doctor in nigeria i will tell you.
- I'm not sure how they do it, but they appear to make payments, but it never materialises. It's not happened to me, but I had a second chance offer off someone it did happen to. He had his suspissions and never sent the item.
- Yeah my sister-in-law got scammed from someone in Nigeria and she made the mistake of sending her jewellery item first before she received payment.. They offered her an outrageous price for her gold necklace and she must have got over excited thinking the money would go into her Paypal account after she had sent it, what a plonker. She kept emailing this person whom i may say kept emailing her back saying he had sent payment via Paypal and it was Paypal messing her about. She has learnt her lesson now...
- there are people being scammed but if they just think before they act it could save them a lot of heart ache also i would like to let people know that the police don't want to know they just tell people to let e bay know. i know this to be the truth because a family member was conned.
