Ebay selling?

selling on Ebay.com close to Christmas might get hard. people are going to the mall rather then shopping on line. Ive put some Abercrombie shirts on ebay. it dose seem rather slow. the closer to christmas we get. to alll those out there I would hold seller to after christmas. january will be harder too because thats the time when people will be paying there credit card off. is this relavent to other people out there ? hows sell for other selling on ebay. & is the sells great for u people. ? 1. It depends on what products you sell. With vintage postcards and other collectibles, January is a good month and selling becomes brisk again. People start collecting again as soon as Christmas is over But if you have a gift related product, particularly a higher price, then January may still be a bit slow as people are still trying to pay off credit cards Experiment and see how it goes for your types of items

3. I'm with ya on that one. I always take a good size break this time of year. I also have found you run into non paying bidders alot more this time of year also.
4. clothes and stuff probably gets slower other things like video games and electronic stuff is the same. just my opinion
5. The problem is that people want their stuff to get there before Christmas, which is pretty much impossible at this point unless you were to get on a plane and hand deliver them. It will pick back up after the holidays. Take a few days off and go back to it after New Years.
6. When selling on Ebay or anywhere on-line,you have to take into accou t shipping & handling charges. For instance,I sell car tags.They sell at stores for $15-$20 each.If I charge $15 + S&H chances are nobody will buy.Why would they?They can pay the same at a store and have item in hand rather than wait for it.Buy at lowest wholesale price you can find and be happy with your profit. When youy get greedy,your sales slump. My Ebay store was rockin thru the holidays.
7.
