  1. Well It depends on what you want to sell and the demand of it. Ebay will charge you to list the item and take a percentage of the final selling price.
  2. I have been selling for a few months and its really easy. Just sign up with paypal if you havent already and away you go! Its easy and a good way of making some money, i like going into my paypal account and realising the money has built up a little bit! Then you can simply transfer the funds into your bank account!
  3. instead of pressing buy on the menu press sell and they guide you through the process its idiot proof im proof of that
  4. been selling for years and was a power seller for many of them. I have noticed things don't sell as fast or for as much as in the past but it istill a good outlet. Start with the little things around your house and nowadays it is wise to start with the bare minimum you would like for the item. Don't hope if you start low it will jump in the end, it doesn't always happen unless you have a very desired item. Read the paypal sellers rules and protect yourself against chargebacks . Have fun and watch those auctions go green!!
  5. I have had a lot of experience with ebay.. .and a friend of mine pretty much does ebay selling exclusively. It CAN be lucrative, but there are many other ways to sell things online without having to give ebay a cut of your profits. www.craigslist.com or advertise online with your local news site (many classified ads online are now free)
  6. it's not really worth it any more...the fees are too high and too many rip off buyers as well as sellers. I find you make more money selling things on a car boot.
  7. Very easy to follow instructions. I strongly recommend that you use a photo for every item. Good Luck! Hope you get lots of bids
  8. Yes, I sell loads on ebay with no problems at all. In fact I got such a buzz out of selling things - three years later I now have a business on there! Just take good photos, full desciptions and you will be fine. Ensure that all parcels are sent recorded delivery - protects you from people saying they haven't received things. This used to happen to me - stopped completly when I used recorded delivery service.
  9. So, you've bought a load of shite, and you need to get rid of it...... Car boot sales are your answer. Stack it high on a paste table and shout your wares................ 'This time next year you'll be doing the same!' (DellBoy would tell you the same)
  10. yes its easy. if i can manage it, anyone can. there is info on selling on ebay, but generally its an easy step by step process.
  11. It's pretty easy. If you have a digital camera it's even easier. Just click on Sell, and it will walk you through each step. It deducts a small fee after the sale of the item (not much at all). It's very simple, nothing to it.
  12. too much hassle, buyers now seem to think they can buy something for a few quid secondhand that new is worth about £100. then spend the next 7 weeks complaining about how it has a little wear and tear on it. you spend your lifechasing & defending a few quid. i ditched ebay & now back to good old car bootys
  13. it doesnt matter how many years you've been buying...even if yr verified. or have a paypal account...(if u dont have a credit card or debit card and lots of people dont ) then u cant sell anything!!! why the thumbs down...its true..if u have no credit or debit card..u cant sell......they let u do the description and weight....evry thing.....it could take u ages untill u get to the end ...waaaank...waaaaank...oooooopppps.....not eligable....
  14. Ebay has awide audience but you will lose out when you pay fees! The best way to sell is for free! with NO fees. All you do is sign up with a valid e-mail and start selling straight away with nothing to lose. http://e-zshop.co.uk/auction/auction.cgi
