Make Money On Ebay

Ebay selling prices?

I have never sold on ebay but where would i find general prices to begin to start selling items? Any tips on how to start selling on ebay would be great too. I do have an ebay account and have bought items from ebay before.

  1. When you list your item for sale, there is an option to click and see what the average price listing is for a similar item. Also you can look up on eBay and see what your item is selling for. That should give you a good idea. I recommend starting the price low, that way you get more bids. But not too low where you will be giving it away for free.
  2. Start your prices low - .99 and you will get more traffic. Everyone is looking for a bargain, but when they start to want the item then they will bid higher and higher to get it. If what you are selling is valuable and you don't want to let it go for less then a certain price place a "reserve" on the auction - if the bids don't go above this amount then you don't have to sell it. To see what items have sold for in the past few months on Ebay go to the search box and type in what you are selling. Then click the "Advanced Search" link right next to the search box. On the next window click the box for "completed auctions only" and it will return a list of all the auctions and the prices that they sold for. The main tip for selling on Ebay I would give you is always make your auctions honest and treat your buyers right. Feedback is very important and you want to keep yours at 100%. Good luck and have fun!
