eBay selling limit?

When I was posting multiple items on my eBay store, I got a notification from eBay that I had a temporary time barrier till I could start listing again. They said it was a temporary "selling limit". How long will this last? Its been 2 days and It's still there!

  1. it's because the fees are going up - they'll unlock you when the new fee structure is in place.
  2. Until you delete other items...hence the term temporary.... hopefully other items sell and come off your listings....then you can add more. Upgrade your status as a prefered partner (the star logo) and you can list more....but you have to sell more and have 99 positive feedback to get that...
  3. It says in there help files that "In order to maintain a safe trading environment, selling limits are occasionally placed on accounts. If a limit has been placed on your account, please contact us." It might be a safety measure to make sure someone hasn't highjacked your account and is making false listings.
  4. eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection. Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. 5. You have to contact ebay - usually if you place too many items at once it sends up a 'flag' to them - with all the identify theft lately - i think they are trying to crack down on that. Good luck!
