- It all depends on the seller you can do PayPal or sometimes people just like a money order.
- You don't have to use a credit card. It depends on what the person who is selling it will except.
- If you look down towards the bottom of each listing, it should tell you what methods of payment the buyer accepts. Some accept only paypal, some only checks/moneyorders, some accept all. Each seller is different. My only advice to you is to fully read everything on the listing before buying. I'd also check the sellers feedback. Lot's of scammers out there so you can't be too careful.
- No, you don't have to use a credit card to buy stuff on Ebay, but it depends on the seller, some require checks, money orders or for you to go through paypay, which is an onsite system which stores your banking or credit card information for future purchases.
- The seller provides payment instructions & informs you of what forms of payment are accepted. Paypal is the #1 the way to pay for auctions on eBay among other sites. It is DEFINITELY the safest, with money back guarantees on certain purchases, the seller of the item does not see your financial info & such... It is a secure site that you link your bank account or credit card account to and when you pay for an item on eBay you "Pay with Paypal" and they (Paypal)automatically pays the seller, then Paypal debits the money from your bank or credit card. The best part is it is free to set up the account. You go to https://www.paypal.com/ on click the "Sign Up Now" button & follow step by step.
