- yeah its fine, just check out the sellers stats you will see if they have had lots of feedback or none, if none i would try and stear clear but if lots of positive feedback shouldnt be a problem and paypal and very good if things go wrong and you are in dispute they will take the money back from the seller and refund you
- Follow your instinct, and if you are still unsure, check the sellers feedbacks, they tell alot about the seller.
- i wouldnt do it because you have hackers that can find a way get to your info
- its safe, but the computers probably suck. they are hammydowns or something, already used. so.... depends what you want to use it for. if its just for fun and fooling around on it then you should get it (but try to find good ones) but if its for buisness and stuff, then save up!
- Pay attention to the shipping and handling costs. That is where the sellers get you. PLUS, the sellers feedback is CRITICAL when buying a computer on ebay. I have been using eBay since 1998 and it has always been dangerous to buy a computer on ebay if you ignore feedback and shipping costs. PLUS...VERY IMPORTANT. If the listing says something like "UNTESTED, SOLD AS-IS" or something similar to that, BEWARE. That probably means they are selling you a DEAD machine or a machine with known problems they are masking themselves from to avoid a negative feedback comment. BE CAREFUL. If you are careful though, you can get some awesome deals on ebay.
- There's always that possibility. I've bought a lot of things on eBay, but usually not expensive things. I suppose the most expensive was about $200. But I always pay close attention to the feedback rating. This shows you whether the people who have dealt with the eBay member were satisfied with the deal they made. If it isn't pretty close to 100% positive feedback, I look for another source for my purchase. It's a calculated risk you take when you use eBay, unless it's an escrow purchase. Good luck!
- yes they can do that. because you pay before you get your product. what you want to look for is a seller that has really good feedback from customers. this means that they are really satisfied with his or her merchandise or how quickly they received the product. Just a caution about pay pal....i have people trying to get into my account and steal money from me.....so just be cautious about what you get in your e-mail and if they want ur pin number thats an automatic NO!!
- Its safe as long as the person has good feedback. (I.E. over 40) and the people they get feedback from have a little feedback.
- It really depends who the seller is.
- ebay is a reputable site, its safe buying selling on ebay , millions of ppl do it every hour! but yes take your precautionary measures just like you take such measures while buying from the offline market :) All the best!
